Golang Job: Platform Engineer

Location: EU Remote

As a Platform Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of architecting and implementing cutting-edge infrastructure solutions that empower users to train, track, and deploy ML models seamlessly. You'll have the opportunity to shape the engineering culture and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable GPU computing infrastructure.
• Develop a real-time orchestration engine for multi-tenant cloud infrastructure.
• Innovate container solutions to synchronize local and remote environments on users' laptops.
• Establish ephemeral/persistent computing environments across multiple cloud providers.
• Build secure, auth-less, bidirectional data streams between remote and local environments.

Skills:

• Proven experience in building orchestration infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Strong familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficiency in Golang and Typescript (Rust is a plus).
• Solid background in building distributed and scalable systems, such as Temporal, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Expertise in secure data streaming and remote execution using technologies like WebSockets, gRPC, etc.
• Strong ability to write modular and functional code, following architecture principles like Onion architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud services and architecture, with a knack for problem-solving and learning on the go.
• Background or interest in machine learning is a significant advantage.

This is a 6-month contract position with a competitive rate of £400-500 per day. The role is fully remote and open to candidates based in the UK.
